What we want

This position will work on mathematical formulations for mechanics problems. Write computer programming codes in Maple, Matlab and Fortran. Perform finite element analyses using commercial finite elements codes such as SAP2000 and ANSYS. Conduct free and forced vibration experiments on various structural systems using Data-physics Data Acquisition software and hardware systems and the software ME’Scope for post-processing vibration data. Use SolidWorks software to create 3D geometrical models for CNC machining and 3D printing. Prepare PowerPoint presentations and assist Prof. Sami El-Borgi in the write-up of research proposals in addition to conference and journal papers and research reports. Also Assist in the supervision of undergraduate students who are working under the supervision of Prof. Sami El-Borgi. Required Education:

  • Appropriate Bachelor’s or equivalent combination of education and experience

Required Special Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others

Responsibilities:
